Principal kisses pig after students reach school goal
Sibley Elementary School students raised more than $23,000 on Friday for the annual Stroll for a Goal.
Students walked in the neighborhood surrounding the school and around Southwest Middle School before coming back to the school to enjoy time outside playing on the playground, socializing or dancing.
Principal Diane Schultz kissed a pig after the students reached their goal.
Fourth-grade teacher Erika Youlden’s class won an Erbert & Gerbert’s party for being the class that sold the most per student out of the school.
Also winning an Erbert & Gerbert’s party for best theme was fourth-grade teacher Amber Jensen’s class. Second place in this category was Katie Grundstrom’s class.
