For the seventh year, The Salvation Army will continue its family approach to Thanksgiving by providing a catered meal to the community. The event is sponsored and served by fellow community members.
“Come have a seat at our table and join in community fellowship,” said Maj. Elsie Cline.
According to a press release, the meal will feature turkey and all the fixings will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Fairlane Building at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds. Dozens of financial contributors and volunteers have made the event for our community possible.
Anyone interested in volunteering may contact The Salvation Army at 507-373-5710 for more information.
