More than 100 Sibley Elementary School students duct-taped their principal to a chair Friday morning in celebration of a school achievement.
The event was in response to students completing bingo sheets connected to reading activities in connection with I Love to Read Month in February. Each student who completed a bingo sheet duct-taped Diane Schultz to a chair at an all-school assembly.
Sibley and Lakeview elementary schools media specialist Kristen Seeger said it was a good event to recognize students for their work during I Love to Read Month.
“I thought it was a fabulous morning,” Seeger said.
