Car reported stolen

A woman hitchhiker reportedly stole a red Cavalier with the license plate number 242CHK while the car’s owner was in the bathroom at White Fox Campground at Myre-Big Island State Park, according to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports. The incident was reported at 11:10 a.m. Monday.
Truck broken into
A pickup was reported broken into on the 800 block of Minnesota Avenue at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, according to police reports.
Tree falls
A tree reportedly fell across power lines on the 500 block of Park Avenue at 2:37 p.m. Tuesday. According to reports, the tree fell across private property, and no power lines fell down with it.
