Birth Announcements

Nicole Semrau and Matt Petersen of 625 W. Clark St., Albert Lea, announce the birth of a son, Joseph Gregory, on Oct. 4, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Joseph weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces, and joins a brother, Matthew.

Grandparents are Dee-Ann and Danny Petersen, Jim and Darcy Brech and Greg Semrau.

Great-grandparents are Chuck and Shirley Brua.

Federico and Wendy Rivera announce the birth of a daughter, Yaneiri Dayami Rivera, on Oct. 22, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Yaneiri weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce, and joins a brother, Federico Javier Rivera III.

Grandparents are Federico and Maria Rivera.

Kristan Espinosa and Cody Hall of 249 High St., Apt. 1, Emmons, announce the birth of a son, Carter Ryan Hall, on Oct. 21, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Carter weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces.

Grandparents are Fran and John Bliss, Ranae Hall, Andy Hall and Rocky Larsen.

Tim and Krystle Braund of Albert Lea announce the birth of a daughter, Destiny Rose Braund, on Oct. 21, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Destiny weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and joins a sibling, Dakota.

Grandparents are Tammy Ashton and the late Vern Braund and Pedro and Silvia Ortiz.

Great-grandparents are the late Alejandra Adams, Blas Garcia, Vernon and Bonita Braund and Darlene Ashton.

Jeffery and Megan Merseth of 1012 Foothills Circle, Albert Lea, announce the birth of a son, Andrew Allan Merseth, on Oct. 22, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Andrew weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces, and joins a brother, Judah, 2.

Grandparents are Allan and Linda Armbrecht of Colo, Iowa, and John and Lorena Merseth of Weston, Ohio.

Great-grandparents are Hugo and Muriel Armbrecht of Colo, Iowa, Virginia Becker of Burt, Iowa, and Leona Merseth of Clearbrook.
