United Methodist announces Holy Week services

Albert Lea United Methodist Church announces Holy Week and Easter services .
There are two Maundy Thursday services scheduled for 12:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. The 12:15 communion service will be held in the fireside foom. The 7 p.m. communion service will be held in the sanctuary. The chancel choir will be singing and the stripping of the altar will conclude the service.
On Good Friday, the public is invited to come from 4 to 7 p.m. in a time of prayer and preparation. Four meditation stations will be available for a quiet time of prayer. There will be quiet music in the sanctuary, a prayer bead station, a Psalm 22 station and a confession and reflection station. There will be scripture and meditation material available to help with individual prayer time. People may come any time during the posted hours and remain as long as they wish at each station.
Easter Sunday will be celebrated with two services. The 8 a.m. service will be led by the youth with the praise team leading the music. The 10 a.m. service will be a traditional Easter celebration with the Chancel Choir and Tower Rings leading the worship. There will be a continental breakfast between the services from 9 to 9:45 a.m. All are welcome.
