I-35 north of Albert Lea closed due to rollover

Published Monday, February 8, 2010

As of 2:35 p.m. Monday, the left lane remains closed on northbound Interstate 35 at Highway 251 (north of Albert Lea) due to a multiple-vehicle accident involving a cattle hauler.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Minnesota State Patrol closed northbound I-35 at approximately 1:20 p.m. The left lane will remain closed until further notice.

Motorists are advised not to travel unnecessarily in southern Minnesota until conditions improve and MnDOT crews clear the roads.
