Emily and William Taylor, children of Craig and Jennifer Taylor, sit on top of some pumpkins they grew in their backyard this summer. The pumpkins started out as seeds from Home Depot in May, were watered by the children and then grew to their current size. The largest pumpkin is 100 pounds. The children and parents said they couldn’t believe the pumpkins grew so large. They plan to share them with the neighborhood children. They will also be used as decorations at the Vitality Project celebration Tuesday night. Not pictured is sibling Jacob Taylor, 3, who also helped take care of the pumpkins.
