The jury will examine the alleged charges against Konrad: three counts of criminal sexual conduct and a solicitation of a juvenile.

According to the criminal complaint, Konrad inappropriately touched and kissed a student on two occasions in the spring of last year.

Konrad resigned from the school shortly after being charged.

In preceding court hearings, Konrad’s defense attorney, Samuel A. McCloud, filed a motion to suppress evidence regarding other alleged sexual misconduct and bad acts by Konrad. But Judge James Broberg denied the motion, ruling that Konrad’s past would be relevant to the case.

The trial will last as long as four days before the jury reaches its verdict.
