NORTHWOOD, Iowa – The Glenville-Emmons girls’ golf team defeated New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva 216-238 in a nine-hole meet at Northwood Country Club Tuesday.

Amber Weber was the medalist with a 48, which Wolverines coach Craig Rayman called an exceptional round in high winds. Following for G-E were Lauren Bremer, Taryn Kaasa and Jessica Boyum all at 56. The Wolverines improved their record to 3-1.

Scoring for the Panthers: Mary Byron 58, Breanna Moe 58, Missy Shaunce 61, Kelly Schmidt 61. The Panthers fell to 1-4.

The Wolverines play Friday at Rushford-Peterson while NRHEG travels to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton on Friday.
