Kenneth Carlyle Weeks, age 93, of Spring Park, Minn., died Aug. 10, 2002.

He was born Oct. 1, 1908, grew up in Albert Lea, and graduated from Albert Lea High School. He married Verna Borland, also from Albert Lea, and they lived in the city until the mid-1950s.

He was preceded In death by his wife, Verna, and sister, Helen Gilpin.

Survivors include children: John and wife Mary Ann, Richard and wife Linda, Ann Englund and husband Douglas, William and wife June, and James and wife Pamela; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marjorie Christiansen and husband Floyd; and many nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, with a reception to follow at St. Martin’s by-the-Lake Episcopal Church in Minnetonka Beach.

Memorials may be directed to the church, or Presbyterian Homes in Spring Park.
