Today is the second of three days when the Tribune’s editorial page will contain our editorial board’s endorsements for local and state elections, which take place Nov. 5.

Today, we offer our opinions on city of Albert Lea and state legislative races.

Endorsements were based on information gained through any or all of: interviews, questionnaires, and debates and public appearances.

Friday: Freeborn County races (Sheriff and for Fourth District Commissioner).

Monday: Governor of Minnesota.

We will accept letters to the editor on the elections until Oct. 31.
