Steven Arnold Tuttle, 52, Albert Lea

The funeral service for Steven Arnold Tuttle will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Curtis Zieske will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service and one hour before the service at the church.
Steven died on Saturday, April 5, 2003, at Monroe County Hospital, Albia, Iowa. He was 52 years old.
Steven was born in Albert Lea on July 7, 1950, the son of Arnold T. and Verna (Varland) Tuttle. He was a 1968 graduate of Albert Lea High School and attended Austin Community College.
On Jan. 2, 1970, he was united in marriage with Linda Schlarbaum at Trinity Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.
Steven had worked for 12 years at ALMCO, Four Seasons Advertising, and currently with Ad Art as a screen printer and with Albert Lea Abstract doing plat drawings. He was a member of the Albert Lea Rifle and Pistol Club, and for the past 20 years had served as their secretary/treasurer. He was also involved with the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association and Pheasants Forever. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter of pheasant and deer. He also enjoyed photography, walking, and Brittany Spaniel hunting dogs.
Steven is survived by his wife, Linda of Albert Lea; two children: Mark Steven Tuttle and his wife, Brenda of Buffalo, Minn., and Leah Bjorklund and her husband, Lee of Plainview, Minn.; parents, Arnold and Verna Tuttle of Albert Lea; sister, Marcia Dahleen and her husband Larry of Forest Lake, Minn.; father-in-law, Alfred Schlarbaum of Albert Lea; three sisters-in-law: Karen (Duane) Miner of Brooklyn Park, Minn., Kathy (Dale) Brekke of Albert Lea, and Pat (Darrell) Amundson of Albert Lea; one brother-in-law, David (Geri) Schlarbaum of Albert Lea; nieces, nephews, cousins, and his special puppy Gunner Walker (GW).
Steven was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Joyce Schlarbaum; grandparents: Selmer and Amanda Varland, and Joseph and Emma Tuttle; and one brother-in-law, Tony Kammer.
Steven was a loving husband, father and son and will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.
