Joan Paula Schoolfield of Albert Lea died Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at the Albert Lea Medical Center. She was 49 years old.

Joan was born July 23, 1953 at Aurora, Ill. to Anthony and Marilyn (Hiltenbrand) Pawlik. She lived in Illinois until 1966 when she moved to Minnesota. Joan married William Schoolfield. Joan was a member of the Eagles Club and Moose Club. She enjoyed cats, dogs and birds. She also enjoyed the farm life.

Joan is survived by her husband William Schoolfield of Albert Lea; father: Anthony Pawlik of Albert Lea; sisters: Janilyn Johnson of Colorado and Jennefer Landis of Aurora, Ill.

Joan was preceded in death by her mother: Marilyn and brother.
