Suzanne Mathews Enge, 66, Downers Grove, Ill.

Funeral services for Suzanne Mathews Enge were held on Friday, Aug. 1, in Downers Grove, Ill., where she died on July 29, 2003, from cancer.
Sue was born on Nov. 4, 1936, to Jack and Alma Mathews. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1955 and from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, in 1959. She married Chuck Enge at Grace Lutheran Church on May 31, 1958.
Sue was the beloved wife and best friend of Chuck; devoted mother of Scott (Sandy) of Lenexa, Kan., Jeff (Sarah) of Berea, Ky., Lisa (Daniel) of Canton, Mich., and Eric (Marie) of Minneapolis. She was the loving grandmother of Erica, Arin, David and Brendan; and the dearest sister of Carolyn Head of Minneapolis, John (Paula) of Faribault, Sena (Carl) Mitch of Homewood, Ill., Ronnie (Betty) Mathews of Albert Lea, and Karen (Mark) of New York City. She was also the adored aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard; and parents-in-law: Maurice and Emma Enge of Onalaska, Wis.
