A woman’s car rolled over after hitting a parked car on South Broadway Avenue in front of the Knights of Columbus Hall about 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The parked vehicle was pushed into another vehicle, damaging it as well. Witness Deb Akemann said she talked to the driver, who said she was a 24-year-old woman from Austin on her way to work. Akemann said heard the crash across the street and saw the car slowly tip over. She said the woman walked away from the accident with a cut on her lip. &uot; She was lucky she was the only one in that car,&uot; Akemann said. A police officer at the scene would not comment on the condition of the woman and said the crash was under investigation. Akemann said the driver said her steering wheel suddenly shifted to the right.
