The funeral service for Mrs. Hazel “Rickie” Erickson Gary will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, La., with the Rev. Kenneth Roy officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville.

Mrs. Gary, age 79, of Pineville, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

Mrs. Gary was a proofreader for the Alexandria (La.) Town Talk. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pineville and served as a United States Marine during World War II.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd J. Gary.

Survivors include her daughters: Yvonne McKay and husband, Bill of Ball, La., and Annette Rose Riley of Pineville; sister, Grace Graham of Albert Lea; six grandchildren: Brian McKay and wife Christina, Yvette Botts and husband Lee, Charlene Maxwell and husband Billy, Ben McKay and wife Anna, Duke Riley and Joshua Riley; and four great-grandchildren, Brent McKay, Jaron McKay, Ryan Botts and Rachel Botts.

Pallbearers will be Bill McKay, Brian McKay, Billy Maxwell, Ben McKay, Duke Riley and Joshua Riley.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville.
