Matilda A. Foley, age 81, of Peoria, Ariz., passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Foley.

She is survived by two sons: Thomas and Steven; one daughter, Jean; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Tillie was known in Albert Lea for her great sense of humor and her bargain shopping finds in Herberger’s Basement.

She was a volunteer at Naeve Hospital and also translated Spanish for the migrant workers in Hollandale.

She was married to Daniel for 50 years. Her legacy lives on in her family and the friendships she made.
