A 24-year-old died after his Ford Explorer turned into the median on Interstate 90 Tuesday night, and rolled-over ejecting him from the vehicle. Michael Mitchell Gene Brua of Albert Lea died at the scene.

A passenger with minor injuries, was treated and released from the Albert Lea Medical Center.

The men were not wearing their seatbelts, according to authorities.

Reportedly, Brua was near the Hayward exit on I-90 when the accident occurred.

Several state troopers and Freeborn County Sheriff’s deputies, along with the Hayward Fire Department responded to the scene.

Traffic on Interstate 90 West was blocked for more than an hour as law enforcement officials cleared the scene.

The accident is still under investigation.
