Midwest Wireless customers continue to help out Santa Claus by donating toys to Toys for Tots.

As in years past, the toys are a product of Midwest Wireless’ annual holiday campaign.

Midwest Wireless employees and representatives from Toys for Tots will load up the toys for distribution Monday at the 2718 Bridge Avenue store.

Midwest Wireless has made the toy drive an integral part of their holiday promotion for the past 12 years.

This year, customers who brought in toys for an area child received a free or discounted wireless phone, free activation and 3 months free Roadgard Roadside Assistance. While the company provided a special incentive to customers, anyone wishing to make a donation was welcome.

&uot;We are pleased that this campaign continues to be a success for our customers and local charities,&uot; said Dennis Miller, president and CEO of Midwest Wireless.

&uot;As a regional provider, this is a great way for us to give back to the very communities where we live and work.&uot;

Customers could also make a monetary donation to the Salvation Army.

Money raised from this part of the promotion, which runs through the end of December, will be distributed to these organizations in January. More than 150 Midwest Wireless retail and authorized agent locations participated in the promotion, with all toys and donations staying in the communities where they were collected.
