Ella M. Dylla, age 83, of Wells, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, at Parkview Care Center in Wells following a brief illness.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells. The Rev. Eugene Stenzel will officiate. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at the Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, with a 6 p.m. prayer service, and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday with rosary at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery in Wells.
Ella was born on May 16, 1920, in Minnesota Lake Township, Faribault County, the daughter of Robert and Clara (Klenk) Evan. She lived all of her life in the Minnesota Lake and Wells area. She married Louis P. Dylla on June 12, 1951, in Easton. She worked at the Wells Hospital. She was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and Rosary Society. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and her cats.
She is survived by one step-son, Martin and wife Nancy Dylla of Wells; step-son-in-law, Victor Beyer of Minnesota Lake; nine grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and two sisters: Helen Evan and Mary Evan, both of Minnesota Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1965; one step-daughter, Elaine Beyer, in 1965; and one brother in infancy.
