Charles Drake, age 58, an Ontario, Calif., resident passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at Kaiser Hospital in Fontana, Calif., of pneumonia.

Charles was born Feb. 16, 1945, in Albert Lea. He grew up in Freeborn and graduated from Freeborn High School.

He was a resident of Ontario for five years and formerly of Rialto, Calif., for 30 years. Charles was an Instructor for Universal Technical Institute and was formerly self employed as a mechanic. He served in the Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran.

He is survived by his son, Mark Drake of Rialto; and his parents, Lyle and Iloe Drake of San Bernardino, Calif.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 28355 E. Baseline, in Highland, Calif.
