David R. Anderson, age 61, of Savage, Minn., died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 20, 2004.

David was born in Hutchinson, Minn., on Sept. 6, 1942, and was united in marriage with Marilyn J. Wakefield (Hartland) at the First Congregational Church, New Richland, on Dec. 17, 1966.

Besides his wife, Marilyn of Savage; he is survived by his sons: Bruce (Sara) of Hutchinson, and Brent (Becky) of Shakopee; grandchildren: Emily, Cody, Matthew and Meghan; brother, Douglas (Laurie) of Eagan, Minn.; brothers-in-law: Wayne (Shirley) Wakefield of St. Paul, Frank (Evelyn) Wakefield of Albert Lea, and Keith (Shelley) Wakefield of Burnsville; sisters-in-law: Elizabeth (Kernel) Knudson of Hartland; and Sharon Wakefield of Albert Lea; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

David was preceded in death by parents, Fred and Inez Anderson, and brother-in-law, Clyde Wakefield.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 24, at Minnesota Valley Community Church, Prior Lake, with the Rev. A. Paul Olson officiating. Interment was at Oakland Cemetery, Hutchinson.
