Funeral services for B. Marie Sunde, age 85, of Fairbury, Neb., will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, at the United Methodist Church, Fairbury, The Rev. Dean Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery, Fairbury.

Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home, Fairbury, is in charge of arrangements.

She died Monday, Aug. 30, 2004, in Fairbury, and had been a resident at Gardenside Nursing Home, Fairbury.

B. Marie was born Sept. 26, 1918, in St. Paul, the daughter of

Lawrence Schoen and Bertha Marie Dahlberg. She married John E. Sunde.

She had 12 years of education, plus two years of college, and was a homemaker.

Survivors include three daughters:

Karen Sunde and companion Tom Hoover of New York City, N.Y., Laurel Napier and husband Galen of Fairbury, and Joni Clarke and husband Ron of Bellwood, Neb.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, John Schoen and wife Virginia of Winthrop, Minn.; and sister-in-law, Helen Schoen of Freeborn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; and three brothers.
