Memorial services for Monty L. Hutchinson, age 69, of Albert Lea, will be held

p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6,
at Ascension Lutheran Church. Rev. Richard Spande will officiate. Military honors will be accorded by the Freeborn County Veteran’s Organizations. Monty died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, at his home in Albert Lea.
Monty Lee Hutchinson was born June 19, 1935, to Frank W. and Emma O. (Olbekson) Hutchinson in Floodwood, Minn. He graduated from Floodwood High School. Monty served in the United States Marine Corps from 1955 to 1959. On Sept. 5, 1959, he was united in marriage to Agnes Staal in Redondo Beach, Calif. Monty had been employed at McCullough Motors in California and Arizona and retired from Allied Signal-Garrett Corporation in California after 20 years as customer service manager. The couple has lived in Albert Lea for 14 years. Monty worked as a custodian at St. John’s, delivered flowers for Johnson Floral, and was the custodian at Christ Episcopal Church from 1993 to 1999. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and all types of sports.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes; children: Debra Lockwood and her husband Jeff, Robert Hutchinson and his wife Lesa, and Jacqueline Hutchinson and John Strauss; grandchildren: Bobby, Michael, Alex, and Casey; brother, Mark Hutchinson and his wife Ann; sister, Mae Hutchinson; sister-in-law, Darlene Hutchinson; nieces and nephews; half brothers: Clarence and Howard; and half sister, Betty.
Monty was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Keith and Frank Jr.
