Floyd Pete O. Madson, 85, Albert Lea

The memorial service for Floyd &uot;Pete&uot; O. Madson, of Albert Lea, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church,
Albert Lea. The Rev. Dan Baker will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation with his family will be one hour before the service at the church. Bonnerup Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Floyd died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, at the Good Samaritan Center, Albert Lea.
He was 85 years old.
Floyd was born July 31, 1919, in Albert Lea to Elmer and Marne Jonnette (Swenson) Madson. He was a 1937 graduate of Albert Lea High School. Floyd married Eunice Sorenson. Floyd was a member of First Lutheran Church. He served on the Offering Committee and also had been an usher.
Floyd worked in the office of Wilson and Company for 44 years, retiring in 1981. He enjoyed gardening and traveling. Floyd was an avid golfer and member of Green Lea Golf Course and was proud of making a hole in one.
Floyd is survived by his daughter, Marilyn Landmark of Plymouth, Minn.; grandson, Jeff Landmark and his wife Michelle of Minnetonka, Minn.; brother, Milo Madson and his wife Doris of Albert Lea; and three nieces and one nephew.
Floyd is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Eunice.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to Peace and Power at First Lutheran Church.
