Rosezella Redman, age 92, of Wells, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, at the Ebenezer Ridges Care Center in Burnsville.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, at the United Methodist Church in Wells, with the Rev. David Gray officiating. Visitation will be held at the United Methodist Church in Wells on Sunday from noon until time of services. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in the Dunbar Memorial Cemetery in Minnesota Lake Township, Faribault County.
Rosezella was born April 2, 1912, the daughter of William and Mary (Noftsker) Buschow in Waseca County. She graduated from New Richland High School where she played basketball. She attended Teachers training and was a teacher. She was united in marriage to Edward Oscar Redman on Nov. 4, 1933 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. They farmed north of Wells for many years and moved into Wells in 1979. They also spent many winters in Mesa, Ariz. She was a faithful and active member of the United Methodist Church in Wells. She enjoyed sewing, bowling and playing cribbage.
She is survived by her children: Joan and her husband Fred Schrader of Burnsville, Kenneth Redman of Portland, Ore., Karen Redman of Burnsville, and daughter-in-law: Elaine Redman of Bend, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren; two sisters: Ardella Dinneen of Wells, and Phyllis Oelerking of Albert Lea, one brother-in-law, John and his wife Marion Redman of Wells; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward, in 1993; and son, Alan Redman.
