Bette M. Hacker, age 75, of Albert Lea, died Monday, March 7, 2005, at Good Samaritan Center in Albert Lea.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m.Saturday, March 12,

at Emmons Lutheran Church in Emmons, with Rev. Julie Fiske officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Lime Creek (Stateline) Cemetery, Emmons.

Mittelstadt Funeral Home in Lake Mills, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Bette M. Adams was born Sept. 3, 1929, east of Glenville, to parents William and Josephine (Perkins) Adams. She grew up in rural Glenville and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1947. She married Frank L. Hacker on June 7, 1947. She was a member of Emmons Lutheran Church where she was active with the Rachel circle, and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Bette is survived by her five children: Rick Hacker and his wife Mary of Albert Lea,

Jessie Rasmusson and her husband Dean of Albert Lea,

James Hacker and his wife, Linda of Boone, Iowa, Joe Hacker and his wife Cindy of Apple Valley, Minn., and Lucy Rogness and her husband Jeff of Minnetonka, Minn.; grandchildren: Jason Hacker of Mankato, Tiffany (Hacker) Cordero and her husband

Moises of Orlando, Fla., Amy (Rasmusson) Petersen and her husband Mike of Albert Lea, Beckie (Hacker) Kennedy and her husband Jason of Albert Lea, Travis Hacker of St. Paul,

Brittany and Kelsey Hacker of Apple Valley, Minn., and Cassandra Rogness of Minnetonka; great-grandchildren: Quinn and Calvin Petersen of Albert Lea,

and Nathaniel Cordero of Orlando, Fla.; several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; a brother, Kirkwood Adams and his wife Ruby of Glenville; a sister, Merle Sandvig of Virginia Beach, Va; and many in-laws, extended relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; and three sisters in infancy.
