Elouise Larson, 81, Austin

Elouise Marie Larson, age 81, of Austin, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at Good Samaritan Center of Albert Lea.

She was born Feb. 11, 1924, in Meriden, Minn., to Ludwig and Marie (Pump) Schultz. Elouise was married Feb. 25, 1943, to Duward “Dude” Larson in Lamond. She was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church and WELCA. Elouise enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and reading.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 3, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, with The Rev. Ron Barnett officiating. Interment will be in the Steele Center Cemetery, rural Owatonna.

Visitation will be held at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary, Austin, on Wednesday from 5:30 to 8 p.m., and on Thursday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church for one hour before the service.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duward; daughter, Mary Lou Schneider; and four brothers and one sister.

She is survived by a son, Larry Larson of Houston, Texas; son-in-law, David H. Schneider of Woodville, Texas; granddaughter, LaVonne Schneider of Houston, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law: Leloa and Chuck Stolass, Hilda Sellner, and Shirley and Richard Nelson, all of Albert Lea; brothers and sisters-in-law: Herb and Denise Schultz of Des Moines; Iowa, and Don and Judy Schultz of Medford; and nephew, David Schneider of

Woodville, Texas.

Memorials are preferred to St. Olaf Lutheran Church.
