Three injured Friday in Wells accident

WELLS &045; The Faribault County Sheriff s Department responded to a one-vehicle accident at 195th Street and 600th Avenue, located about four miles northeast of Wells, at about 10 p.m. Friday. The additional emergency units responding to the scene included Wells Police, Ambulance and Fire Department, plus the Freeborn Ambulance.

The driver of the vehicle involved in this accident was 19-year-old Adam Del Schaper, of Wells. Schaper was transported to Albert Lea Medical Center by Wells Ambulance, where he was then transported to Rochester as a result of the accident. He was reportedly not wearing his seatbelt.

Lonnie Berg, 25, of Wells and Teisha Chapman 26, of Wells, were passengers in the Schaper vehicle. Chapman was transported to Albert Lea Medical Center by Freeborn Ambulance, where she was treated for injuries as a result of the accident. She was also listed as not wearing her seatbelt.

juveniles were also passengers in the Schaper vehicle. One was taken to Albert Lea Medical Center by Wells Ambulance, where she was treated for injuries as a result of the accident. None of the juveniles were wearing their seatbelts, according to the accident report.

This incident remains under investigation by the Faribault County Sheriff’s Department.
