Funeral services for Irene O. Lein, 90, of Albert Lea will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the Grace Lutheran Church. The Rev. Todd Walsh will officiate. Interment will be in the North Prairie Lutheran Cemetery of Lakes Mills, Iowa. Visitation is one hour prior to the services at the church.

Irene died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at St. John’s Lutheran Home.

Irene Olivia Lein was born July 7, 1915, to Ole and Ida (Drugsvold) Brunsvold in Leland, Iowa, and grew up in rural Lake Mills. She worked on the family farm and at various other jobs. Irene moved to Albert Lea in the early 1970s. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading.

Survivors include her son, Reuben Lein of Seattle, Wash.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer; her son, Jerry; and her sister, Iris.
