Knights above .500 on season after victory

GRANADA &045;&160;The Alden-Conger volleyball team defeated the Granada Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther team Tuesday night 32-30, 25-15, 27-25.

The Knights pulled off impressive wins in games one and three coming from behind to win both.

The Knights fell behind early in game one 1-8 but came back behind some gutsy plays to win.

&uot;They would fight off game point and we would fight of game point&uot; said A-C head coach Jon Jahnke. They fought off seven game points and forced four of their own.&uot;

Kristin Faugstad led the team with 13 kills and Kara Behr had 11. Emily

Appel and Kacey Johnson both had four aces.

The Alden-Conger Knights now broke above the .500 mark for the season with the win to improve to 10-9.

A-C is back in action tomorrow when they face LeCenter at home.
