Michael John Gray, 25, of Mankato, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, at his residence in Mankato.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca with the Rev. John Kunz officiating.
Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
Visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. and continue on Tuesday one hour before services at the funeral home.
Born in Mankato, Minnesota, on March 20, 1980, he was the son of Jack and Marilyn (Owen) Gray.
He graduated from Waseca High School in 1998 and then graduated from Minnesota State University-Mankato in 2004 with a degree in criminal justice.
He served in ROTC and the Army National Guard and had been employed at the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center.
He enjoyed hunting and downhill skiing.
He is survived by his father, Jack Gray of Waseca; his mother, Marilyn (Gary) Lane of Ramona, Calif.; one sister, Christina Winter of New York; his paternal grandfather, Charles Gray of Waseca; maternal grandmother, Edna Owen of San Diego, Calif.; aunts, Laurie (Steve) Behn of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Barbara (John) Schwartz of Ithaca, N.Y.; an uncle, Marlin (Geri Lee) Owen of Los Angeles, Calif.; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Pauline Gray, and maternal grandfather, Herbert Owen.
