GLENVILLE &045; There is a trend that the Glenville-Emmons boys basketball team has followed under head coach Dan Fredrickson and looks like the Wolverines are at it again this season.
&8220;Since I have been coach here we have always finished strong,&8221; Fredrickson said.
&8220;Some teams what you see at the beginning of the season is what you get, but we always improve and seem to be able to finish strong.&8221;
The Wolverines picked up another win Friday night downing Houston 64-49 to improve to 14-4 on the season and 8-2 in the Southeast Conference.
Jarrad Knutson led the way for the Wolverines with 21 points, seven rebounds and four steals.
Wade Flattum added 12 points and seven rebounds and Devin Yost had 12 points and six boards.
While G-E may not be an exceptionally deep team it gets a lot of production out of its players with Flattum, Yost, Michael Greibrok and Knutson all averaging in double figures scoring on the season.
G-E held a 35-19 halftime lead as it contained the Hurricanes with some solid defense.
The Wolverines face Hope Lutheran on the road Monday before a big rematch with No. 9 Spring Grove on Thursday.
