Funeral service for Carol Jean Brandt of Albert Lea will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday March 28, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Curtis Zieske will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be

from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bonnerup Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Carol died unexpectedly from complications of pneumonia on Friday, March 24, 2006, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester.

She was 57 years old.

Carol was born July 24, 1948, in Austin to Edmund E. and Alberta M. (Fuchs) Brandt. She has lived in Wells and presently lives in Albert Lea. Carol graduated from Wells High School and Austin Cosmetology. Carol has worked for Security State Bank, Pillsbury Elevator and presently, Woodvale. She was a member of the Elks and Does. Carol enjoyed doing crafts, crochet, decorating and watching movies. She was a mother hen for all her nieces and nephews.

Carol was an intense Vikings fan.

Carol is survived by her parents: Edmund and Alberta Brandt of Albert Lea;

brother and sisters: Jeri Warmka and

children Chris, Linsey and Whitney;

Gary Brandt and son Corey; Karen and Rick Boyer and daughters Tracy and Kelly and husband Nic; Marty and Theresa Brandt and son Derek; Robbin and Todd Weatherly and daughters Erin and Amy, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her grandparents on both sides.
