The funeral for Ellsworth H. Huper, age 83, of Chatfield, will be at 11 a.m., April 5, 2006, in St. Paul Lutheran Church Chatfield with the Rev. Preston Paul officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Wells at 3 p.m. on April 5, 2006. Ellsworth H. Huper died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at Preston Good Samaritan Center.

He was born Dec. 21, 1922, in rural Wells. He married Marjorie Ruth Baker on June 23, 1956, in the United Methodist Church in Sumner Center, Minn. He farmed in Rural Wells until moving to Chatfield in

1983. He was a Church Elder, Chatfield Lions member, Farm Bureau, Wells Farmer Elevator Board Member.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, David (Marlene) Huper of Alden, Mark (Viviana) Huper of Chatfield, James (Terri) Huper of Alden, Jonathan (Jackie) Huper of Wells; two daughters,

Lori (Mike) Reiland of Dover, Minn., and Janet (Dennis) Nelson of Eyota, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his a brother, and a sister.

Visitation will be Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at Riley Funeral Home in Chatfield and at the church one hour before services on Wednesday.
