Jennet Lorentzen, 45, of Albert Lea

In loving memory of Jennet A. Lorentzen (Turner) Jan. 25, 1961 – April 17, 2006.
Jennet passed away early Monday morning at Mercy Medical Hospital in Mason City, Iowa.
Jennet was one of 10 children, the daughter of Delores and Ervin Becker.
She is survived by her four children: son, Jamie Lee Whalen, his wife Jessica, their four children, Jasmine Lee, Daisy Raven, Shane Hawk, and Lilyana Jennet; son, Ryan Ervin Whalen, his four children, Sierra, Kaylee, Josh, and Macy; daughter, Jenna Dee, her husband David Lowy, and their child, Courtney Jo; and daughter, Nicolena Krystal Whalen.
She is also survived by her father Ervin Becker and nine siblings: Judy Moreno, Jean Tomlinson, Jane Hamberg, June Clark, Evie Becker, Jeff Turner, Joyce Theis, Jay Becker and Joleane Becker, and many nieces and nephews.
Jennet was a 1979 graduate of Albert Lea High School. Her favorite color was yellow. She loved spending time with her children and was a very proud grandmother to her grandchildren.
She enjoyed listening to music, playing tambourine with her church, The Salvation Army, playing cards, shooting darts, and playing Frisbee golf.
Jennet always had time for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Delores Becker; grandmother Ethel Lorentzen; aunts, uncles, cousins, brother-in-law and nephew.
Jennet’s favorite quote is &8220;I love you more.&8221;
Services will be held at the Salvation Army at 1 p.m. Friday, April 21. All are welcome.
