The Millers racked up a total of 18 hits in the game while the Colonels only managed to get six.

&8220;We need to get the bats going,&8221; said Trygstad of his team’s offensive struggles.

There were a few bright spots for the Colonels. The infield did manage to turn two double plays and Devin Kaasa continued his strong early season play.

Kaasa started on the mound, pitched into the fourth inning and has pitched for AL every game this season. He also proved to be adept at the plate going 3-for-4 including a bunt single.

Ryan Wangen had two singles in the game and Matt Trygstad had one hit.

The Colonels next game is against a tough Mankato Twins squad tonight in Mankato. AL’s next home game is Saturday, June 10 against Faribault.
