Funeral services for David A. Coultas, age 44, of Albert Lea, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Burial will be at Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Bayview and one hour prior to the services on Friday.

David died Sunday, June 11, 2006, at the Albert Lea Medical Center.

David Allen Coultas was born Nov. 5, 1961, to Lee Roy and Bonnie Marlene (Handel) Coultas in Baltimore, Md. On June 15, 1985, he was united in marriage to Cathy Mathews in Pennsgrove, N.J.

The couple moved to Albert Lea 2 1/2 years ago. David was previously employed as a machine operator at Minnesota Corrugated Box. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, NASCAR, crabbing, and barbecuing.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy; son, David Coultas Jr.; and brothers: Vernon, Josh and Mike Coultas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
