Bulldogs a perfect 4-0 on the season

LAKE MILLS, Iowa &8212; The Lake Mills football team remained unbeaten this season running its record to 4-0 with a 41-0 beating of North Iowa.
Lake Mills scored all of its points in the first half. The Bulldogs scored early and often using the big play to roll up 324 yards of total offense in the game.
Peter Brekken got the scoring going with a 44-yard rumble into the end zone and that was followed by a 34-yard strike from quarterback Brent Bjelland to Mitch Storby making the score 14-0.
Lars Christianson would find paydirt from 37 yards out and Brekken closed out the Bulldogs&8217; first quarter scoring with a 40-yard interception return.
Brekken would score for the third time on a 30-yard run for a touchdown in the second quarter, while Bjelland scored from 16 yards out to tack on the final points.
Brekken finished the night with 116 yards on 12 carries, Christianson added 71 yards and Spenser Brackey led the defense with 12 tackles.
North Iowa had just 83 yards of total offense in the game and managed five first downs.
Lake Mills will put its unbeaten record on the line Friday at home against St. Ansgar.
