Memorial services for Judy Karen Anderson, age 49, of Wynmoor, Pa., and formerly of Albert Lea, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, at the Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Curtis Zieske will officiate. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the time of the service.

Judy died on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, at her home in Pennsylvania.

Judy Karen Anderson was born in Albert Lea on May 12, 1957, the daughter of Egel and Phyllis Anderson. She grew up here and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1975. She attended classes in Mankato and in Wisconsin for hotel management. She was working as the housekeeping manager for a hotel company.

Survivors include her daughter, Sara and her husband, Jeffrey Young, of Toledo, Ohio; her grandson, Aidan; her fianc/, Pasquale Neri, of Pennsylvania; her mother, Phyllis Anderson of Albert Lea, her brother, Duane Anderson of Texas, sister, Pauline and husband, Henry Carlson of Albert Lea, sister, Diane and husband, Robert Andrews of New York, brother, Dale Anderson of California, and brother, Randy and wife, Terri Anderson of Blooming Prairie; and many nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, Egel, her sister, Judith, her grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
