Lloyd Kenneth Hareid, age 87, died Oct. 20, 2006, in Burnsville, Minn. Memorial service will be Monday, Oct. 23, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 16725 Highview Avenue, Lakeville, Minn. The Rev. Paul Biebighauser will officiate. Inurnment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Monday, Oct. 23, 2006, at 1:30 p.m.

Lloyd was born March 14, 1919, in Albert Lea.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years: Ruth Hareid, children: Kay (Don) Thielen, Karel (Joe) Jelinek, grandchildren: Brent (June) Thielen, Tiffany (Bryce) Cox, Amy (Jake) Rath, Jennifer (Tom) Sundling, Lindsay Jelinek, great-grandchildren: Marat and Madina Thielen, and Treyton Cox, brother: Dean (Carol) Hareid.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his siblings: Stacia Alcott, Helen Bosacker, Christine Hareid, and Richard Hareid.
