Mark Jellinger, 37, Minneapolis

Memorial services for Mark Andrew Jellinger, age 37, of Minneapolis, formerly of Albert Lea, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home.

The Richard Spande will officiate.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Mark struggled with depression for many years. His family was there for his support but the disease overcame him on Dec. 22, 2006, at his home.

Mark Andrew Jellinger was born on Dec. 9, 1969, in Albert Lea, the son of Steven and Wendy (Christensen) Jellinger.

He attended and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1988.

Mark worked for IBM in Rochester for several years before moving to Minneapolis where he worked in customer service for Cingular phone service.

He enjoyed reading, music and bargain shopping.

Mark is survived by his father,

Steve and wife Deborah Jellinger; mother, Wendy and husband Gary Simonson; twin brother Michael and wife Michelle; brothers, David, Keith and Bryan; niece, Morgan; and nephew, Jack; grandmother, Priscilla Jellinger; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Harriet Christensen and Andrew Jellinger.

Mark will be missed by his many friends and loving family.
