Clifford Flann, 91, Albert Lea

Funeral services for Clifford A. Flann, age 91, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Church of St. Theodore. The Rev. Jim Berning and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Clifford died Monday, March 12, 2007, at the Albert Lea Medical Center.
Clifford Alvin Flann was born June 11, 1915, to Edwin Adolph and Stella A. (Tyribakken) Flann in Harmony. He graduated from Austin High School.
On Sept. 16, 1936, Clifford was united in marriage to Mary C. Marvelet in Austin. He was employed as a superintendent for Borden Chemical for 19 years in Albert Lea before transferring to Columbus, Ohio, for one year and then to Danville, Va., until his retirement.
Clifford and Mary then moved to Big Fork, where they lived for over 20 years before returning to Albert Lea.
Clifford was a member of the Church of St. Theodore and the Eagles.
Survivors include his sons, Gary and his wife, Elaine Flann of Arizona and James and his wife, Sharri Flann of Virginia; grandchildren: Michelle, Shane and Steven; and four great-grandchildren.
Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; his son, Jack; his sister, Doris; and a brother as a young child.
