James Cope from Albert Lea won the race in a time of 17:08 which was a few minutes slower then his personal best time of 14:53.

Cope felt it was a respectable time considering the double-loop course contained 24 corners. He has qualified and is currently training for the Bolder Boulder 10K race to be held in Boulder, Colo. on Memorial Day. The Bolder Boulder race annually attracts over 50,000 runners from the United States and around the world.
