The new streetlamps on East Main Street look nice. They stretch from Interstate 35&8217;s Exit 11 to about Morris Furniture. What a great way to greet visitors to Albert Lea!

We especially like the old-fashioned style of lamp covering they have. The new &8220;Welcome to Albert Lea&8221; banners look nice, too.

All in all, the new streetlamps tell visitors &8220;Albert Lea takes pride in itself.&8221;

Because of course we do.

Kudos to everyone who worked on the project, from the consultants to the construction workers and from the city staff to the city elders. Good job all around.
