Mildred Schultz, 92, Albert Lea

The funeral service for Mildred Katherine Schultz of Albert Lea will be 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Curtis Zieske will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, and one hour before the service at the church.
Memorials are preferred to the donor&8217;s choice.
Mildred died Monday, May 28, 2007, at Albert Lea Medical Center.
She was 92 years old.
Mildred was born May 15, 1915, at Story City, Iowa, to Fredrick and Christine Andersen. She was an Albert Lea resident and attended Albert Lea High School. She married Charles Peter Oliva. On Sept. 20, 1946, she married Raymond (Sharkey) Schultz. Mildred was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She worked for Wilson and Company for 35 years retiring in 1977. Mildred belonged to the VFW Auxiliary and had held the office of President. She also was a member of the Eagles, Moose and American Legion Auxiliary. Mildred enjoyed reading; bowling, traveling, spending winter in the Southwest, dancing, music, going to Gospel Jams in the Phoenix, Ariz., area and doing craft work with yarn.
Mildred is survived by two children:
Jacqueline Allen and her husband Bob of Sun City West, Ariz., and Barry Oliva and his wife Donna of Albert Lea; grandchildren:
Katherine Hunter, Raymond Burg and his wife Penny, Christine Rogers and her husband Greg, Carole Neace and her husband Tim, Kenneth Burg and his wife Jeanne, Douglas Burg and his wife Susan, Jill Rutledge and her husband Edward, Joni Gutknecht and her husband Scott, Janette Hafner and her husband Michael and Barry Oliva Jr. and his wife Jennifer.
Step grandchildren: Cindy Harrold, Suzie Root, Lynne Patten, William Patten and his wife Kelly and Joely Eskens and her husband Allen; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, husbands and brother Kenneth.
