Worker falls 30 to 35 feet from roof

An individual working on the new Larson Manufacturing warehouse reportedly fell 30 to 35 feet from the roof at 2:23 p.m. Tuesday, according to police reports. Reports indicated the person received multiple head and body fractures and that the Albert Lea Medical Center staff requested Mayo One to meet at the hospital.
Albert Lea Police Chief Dwaine Winkels said he was unsure whether the individual had fallen onto the pavement or the ground.
No other information, including the identity of the individual, was available at press time.
Stereo reported stolen
A stereo was reported stolen out of a Ford Contour on the 100 block of Sixth Avenue at 4:46 a.m. today, according to police reports.
