Helen Ingeborg Heggelund, 95, passed away peaceably on Oct. 10, 2007, at McKnight Care Center in Roseville. Helen was born in Albert Lea and moved to Minneapolis before WWII and lived for over thirty years in St. Louis Park. Helen worked at various Honeywell plants and was very active in the Honeybelles service organization where she made many friends and contributions over the years. Her friends and family will remember her arrivals with tote bags full of Honeybelle craft projects, and never coming to a party without something to share. She was a wonderful cook and talented craftsperson.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Ingeborg Heggelund. She is survived by her sisters: Alice Meixell and Viola Nelsen of Albert Lea, and Lilly Leeper of Shoreview; nieces: Karen Trow (Tony) and Joan Meixell; nephew, John Leeper (Linda Grohoski), great-nephew Anthony Trow (Lorraine) and family, great-niece Anne Leeper and great-nephew Thomas Leeper.

Her family would like to thank the staff of McKnight Care Center and Presbyterian Homes Assisted Living for their friendship and thoughtful and loving care
