Wanda Sue &8220;Susie&8221; Ellis, 70, of Glenview, Ill., died Tuesday Oct, 9, 2007, at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview.

Mrs. Ellis was born in Burnside, Ky., on Aug. 14, 1937, to the late Ben and Minnie Bell. She was a member of Sheridan Shores Yacht Club.

She was the wife of Herb Ellis, former owner of Herb&8217;s Pure Oil Service Station which was located in Wilmette, Ill. She was the mother of Jane (Jack) Gibbins, of River Forest, Ill., James (Linda) Ellis, of Newport News, Va., Michael (Susan) Ellis of Albert Lea and Robert Ellis, of Evanston, Ill.; and grandmother of Hannah, Luke, Claire and Samuel.

Visitation is Saturday from 10 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 1775 Grove St., Glenview, Ill. 60025. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Ill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Theodore Church or St. Theodore School.
